Care to Change the World
Introduction
Welcome to African Unity 2063, an ambitious initiative dedicated to driving sustainable growth, fostering innovation, and empowering communities across Africa. Guided by the African Union’s Agenda 2063, African Unity 2063 brings together the best of public, private, and nonprofit resources to address the continent’s most pressing challenges. Our vision is rooted in partnership, knowledge-sharing, and a commitment to the prosperity of African nations. Through innovative projects and a collaborative approach, African Unity 2063 is laying the foundation for a resilient and inclusive future, where Africa can thrive on its own terms.
About
African Unity 2063 is coordinated by the European Social Label (EUSL), the African Social Label (AFSL), and the Global Social Impact Alliance (GSIA). Together, we engage with regional economic communities (RECs), governments, and local organizations to ensure the successful implementation of our initiatives. With partners like the African Development Bank (AfDB), our work is designed to address key areas such as education, technology, infrastructure, and environmental sustainability, all while building governance and compliance across the continent.
Directions
Our projects span a wide array of objectives, each aligned with African Unity 2063’s mission to promote sustainable growth and social impact. From technology innovation to environmental stewardship and cultural preservation, our initiatives work cohesively to ensure long-term development and resilience. Through collaborative and strategic planning, we guide each project’s journey from inception to impact.
Risk and Mitigation
In complex, dynamic environments, effective risk management is essential. Our Risk and Mitigation Framework identifies potential challenges and outlines proactive solutions. With a focus on governance, environmental sustainability, social sensitivity, and data security, African Unity 2063 mitigates risks to ensure our projects meet their goals while respecting the integrity of local communities.
Strategy and Implementation
Achieving lasting change requires a clear and well-executed strategy. Our approach prioritizes alignment with local needs, agile implementation, and measurable outcomes. Through management and evaluation, African Unity 2063 delivers projects that provide benefits to the communities we serve. Our strategy ensures the alignment of each initiative with African Union’s long-term goals for the continent.

Through collaborative partnerships and strategic planning, these projects align with African Unity 2063’s mission to create pathways for lasting impact. Together, they embody the principles of inclusivity, resilience, and empowerment, fueling a movement that empowers individuals, strengthens communities, and honors the legacy of Africa’s diverse heritage.
European Social Label
European Social Label (EUSL) stands as a cornerstone of social innovation and sustainable development in Europe. Founded on the principles of “Charity as a Business,” EUSL leverages strategic partnerships, sustainable business practices, and targeted social initiatives to drive impact. By providing a structured framework for companies and organizations to integrate social responsibility into their operations, EUSL supports European enterprises in creating shared value, fostering inclusivity, and establishing meaningful community connections. EUSL brings this expertise to African Unity 2063, offering guidance, resources, and a robust foundation for sustainable growth across Africa.
African Social Label
African Social Label (AFSL) is dedicated to advancing social enterprise and inclusive development across Africa. Built upon the successful European Social Label model, AFSL adapts these principles to African contexts, empowering businesses, governments, and communities to address local challenges through innovative solutions. With a strong emphasis on member-driven initiatives, AFSL serves as a vital catalyst for economic opportunity, social equity, and community resilience. Within African Unity 2063, AFSL mobilizes African talent, resources, and enterprise, forging a sustainable pathway to a thriving, interconnected future for Africa.
Global Social Impact Alliance
The Global Social Impact Alliance (GSIA) operates as a bridge between European and African institutions, creating a cooperative platform where global expertise meets local innovation. As an influential player in policy advocacy, governance, and compliance, GSIA facilitates transparent, ethical collaborations across continents, involving governmental bodies, multinational organizations, and African Regional Economic Communities (RECs). GSIA’s leadership in governance ensures that African Unity 2063 upholds the highest standards in compliance, accountability, and mutual benefit, fostering a collaborative spirit that advances Africa’s social, economic, and environmental aspirations on the world stage.
The Sister Projects Our Society and Our Europe
These two projects, which are essentially two sides of the same coin, are EUSL’s main initiatives and the core purpose of the organization’s existence. Here, we work to revitalize today’s mindset and build tomorrow’s society based on the principle of equal worth and everyone’s right to participate in society according to their individual ability. The goal is for a part of the project to be established in every EU country, thereby strengthening the project as a whole, while the end result is a more tolerant and adaptable society.
Our Europe
A project in 27 parts with three areas of focus for how we develop and modernize the system we all live and work within today. The focus is on employers, employees, and political positioning.
Our Society
A project in 27 parts focused on how we build the inclusive and equitable societies of tomorrow. Additionally, this includes ensuring that our communities are energy-efficient and climate-positive.
